Pepper stuffed with mushrooms with vegetables and Brussels cabbage

Pepper stuffed with vegetables is already a traditional dish in the autumn period. In our recipe, we propose to use mushrooms, rice and Brussels cabbage as a filling.

For stuffed peppers, you will need:

Bulgarian pepper – 1 kg

Rice – 0.5 kg

Forest mushrooms – 300 g.

Brussels cabbage – 350 g.

Carrots – 2 pcs.

Onions – 2 pcs.

Tomato juice – 1 liter

Milk – 0.5 l

Butter – 120 g.

Sugar – 1 t. spoon

To taste – salt, pepper

Recipe for cooking pepper, stuffed with mushrooms, vegetables and cabbage

Prepare peppers for stuffing – wash, free from seeds. Cut the vegetables – carrots on a grater, onions – cubes, spull them in a pan. Boil the mushrooms, cut into cubes and also fry a little. Rinse rice, drain water, put it in a deep bowl, add fried vegetables and mushrooms, mix. Take the prepared pepper, first lay the Brussels cabbage, then fill all the pepper with rice with vegetables. Fold the fabric peppers in the pan and get the preparation of the broth.

To do this, mix tomato juice, sugar, milk and pour stuffed peppers. Cook for 40-50 minutes.
