Kletski – traditionally flour products, translated from German means “lump”. They are usually added to soups, but can be used separately, or as a side dish for meat, poultry. In our recipe, we will try to cook jackets from potatoes, let’s see what comes of it.
Ingredients (for 8 portions):
1 kg of potatoes
4 slices of bread
1 tbsp. l. potato starch various spicy herbs salt ground pepper
4 tbsp. l. vegetable oil (refined, without smell)
Preparation:
Rinse potatoes, divide into two halves. Boil one along with the peel (in uniforms), clean, chop. Peel the other half and grate on a fine grater, mix with the first half until homogeneous mass. Drain the excess fluid, mix with finely chopped greens, add a tablespoon of starch. Season with salt and pepper, mix thoroughly until smooth.
Cut the slices of bread in small cubes, slightly fry in oil, until golden-rumin.
From the prepared potato mass, make round cakes of this size that they are placed in the palm of your hand. Put the crackers inside, form a ball. Cook potato ticks in salted water, do not allow to boil hard. After the strokes float to the surface, cook literally 2-3 minutes, then remove from the fire.
It is best to serve potato ticks with sour cream, cottage cheese, or like a side dish for pork, goose, chicken, etc. D.
Bon appetit!
